47th Annual Business Dinner
In-Person Networking Gala

Annual Business Dinner ticket holders are invited for a night of in-person networking! Get a chance to connect with event speakers, local business leaders, students, faculty and alumni all while enjoying good food and drinks.

This will be a formal event with a formal dress code. The event will be held on March 18th, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm in Loyola Academic 290 (LA290).

Please bring ID and Proof of Vaccination for admission!

Applications and Nominations are now open for our 2022 Commerce Society Awards. See below for specific application criteria and more information on each award. Awards will be presented at the Commerce Society Annual Business Dinner.

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES EXTENDED!

Sobey School of Business Commerce Society Community Service Scholarship

This award will be given to a student who has demonstrated a significant interest in community engagement, and has devoted time and energy into the enhancement of initiatives within the social sector in Nova Scotia.

CRITERIA

Member of the Commerce Society; Can apply to be a member until Feb 28th.
Enrolled in the Commerce/ Business related-program in Saint Mary’s (any year)
Students in Co-op are eligible - please provide proof that you are in the Co-Op program. **
Considered & enrolled this semester as a full-time student (3+ more classes per semester)

Commerce Society Husky Leadership and Tenacity Award

This award was created to shed-light on a student who is not only contributing to their academic success, but embracing significant leadership qualities. This student inspires others to work creatively and collaboratively, with respect and dignity for their environment and creates standards of excellence for others to follow. This person takes accountability and responsibility, and puts in effort to strengthen and maintain relationships within the Saint Mary’s community.

CRITERIA

Member of the Commerce Society; Can apply to be a member until Feb 28th.
Enrolled in the Commerce/ Business-related program in Saint Mary’s.
Only student in year 3+ are eligible for this award.
Students in Co-op are eligible - please provide proof that you are in the Co-Op program. **
Considered & enrolled this semester as a full-time student (3+ more classes this semester)
